The criteria

Every request is reviewed as a whole.

Meeting one requirement is not enough, and there is no automatic follower threshold. Talder considers context, impersonation risk and the quality of the available evidence.

    Authentic

    The profile must represent a real and demonstrable person, business, institution or organization.

    Unique

    We generally verify one account per identity, except for official profiles separated by language, region or purpose.

    Complete

    The username, @ID, picture and profile details must be consistent, recognizable and not misleading.

  4. 04

    Active

    The account must be genuinely used, accessible and have a recent, consistent presence on Talder.

  5. 05

    Notable

    There should be a real public interest or a realistic risk that similar accounts could cause confusion.

  6. 06

    Secure and compliant

    The account must remain under its owner’s control and follow the Terms of Service and community rules.

Verification is mainly intended for recognizable identities or profiles exposed to impersonation risk.

Follower count alone does not decide the outcome. A large profile may not be verifiable; a smaller one may qualify when authenticity, relevance and impersonation risk are clear.

How to apply

One clear request, four steps.

    Prepare the profile

    Complete your Talder profile and make sure its username, picture and @ID match your public identity.

  2. 02

    Email Talder

    Send your request to [email protected] from your most representative email address.

  3. 03

    Provide context

    Include your @ID, username, category, reason for applying and official links or independent sources.

  4. 04

    Wait for review

    The team may ask for clarification. Every decision is manual and timing depends on the complexity of the review.

Before you apply.

Does verification cost anything?

No. Talder does not sell the badge, does not include it with Talder Premium and never charges to review or approve a request. Do not trust anyone promising it in exchange for money.

How many followers do I need?

There is no fixed threshold. Notability is one signal and is reviewed alongside authenticity, completeness, activity, security and the risk of confusion.

Does the badge unlock extra features?

No. It makes the profile’s identity clearer; it does not unlock privileges, guaranteed reach or Premium tools.

What happens if the profile changes after verification?

Significant changes to the username, @ID, owner or purpose may require another review. Talder may remove the badge if the identity is no longer consistent, if the account is transferred, sold, compromised or used for impersonation, or in cases of false information, prolonged inactivity or serious violations.

Can I apply again after a request is declined?

Yes, when you have meaningful new evidence or the profile has materially changed. Repeating the same request without new information will not change the outcome.

Can Talder contact me?

Yes, only to clarify the request or agree on a secure way to review additional information. Always check that the sender and context are authentic.
